Paradiso Italiano - Alexandria

I wish I had discovered this place sooner when I was craving some indulgent Italian food. On the bright side, it's probably a good thing that it's a bit far from me, as I might end up visiting too often!

My family and I visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening, and it was quite empty. It seems that brunch might be a better option if you're looking to socialize with other guests. Our server was well-informed about the menu and added a fun touch to our experience. The food was decent overall, but everyone ended up trying my pork chop and preferred it to their own dishes. I would love to return for brunch to see what the atmosphere is like.

We really enjoyed the appetizer platter, featuring fried calamari and a few other items—super tasty! The bread was fresh, warm, and delightful. Our main courses were pretty good overall. I had the red snapper served with pasta and spinach; the fish was a little dry, but still enjoyable. Our server was friendly and attentive.
