La Tasca - Alexandria

This is definitely a great place to go if you have a bunch of friends that you want to get together and try something different. Sure there 's a lot of tapas places in the metro area, but this one is excellent. We got there just in time to see the Flamenco routine, which was quite a treat to see. The variety on the menu is enough to please anyone, even those with pickier appetites. Since they lifted the true Sangria ban in Virginia, the Sangria is even better than it was previously! I highly recommend the cheese sampler plate, especially if you 're a connoisseur, or just really like cheese. Do not pass on the chicken croquettes either!
