Krispy Krunchy Chicken - Alexandria

I’ve been to numerous locations of this franchise and have found it okay. When I found there was one in my neighborhood I decided to check it out and see if it was worth it. The first thing I was turned off by was that this location operates out of a gas station. Now, I’ve been to many gas station restaurants and have enjoyed their food. However, this gas station is one of the more expensive ones in the area and isn’t one I ever go to. After trying their food, I now have two reasons why not to go here. The only reason I could justify eating their fried chicken is if you need a sick day from school or are having problems with your bowel movements and need a little kickstart from some food poisoning. I ordered both their chicken sandwiches and their fried chicken and regretted it almost instantly. But, what’s worse than their food is their service. While waiting for my order multiple customers were ignored until they decided to just leave. The staff treat customers as if they’re doing them a favor by selling them the fried urgent care visit. It’s a shame that such a fine chain is being represented this way. I wouldn’t touch this location with a stick.

The places is literally infested with rats. They sometimes even block the front door. When that happened, I never went back

Having gone to other locations for the past 8 years I know the chicken is outstanding and beats Popeyes and Bojangles hands down. That being said this particular one deserves a negative 1 had it been an option. I asked the two grntlemen there how long had the chicken they tried to give me been sitting and it was a whooping 30 minutes. I asked if they could make my order with a fresh batch (which is a reasonable request knowing how old the four pieces that were there were), the answer was an astounding nope by both workers. So I astoundingly left and won't return for any future service. Losing money and potential frequent patrons is obviously not an asset to this establishment. Toodles!
