Hardee's - Alexandria

$18 for 2 breakfast combos seems high, but it's pretty good for fast food.

Needs a remodel. And a good detail cleaning the entire place. The food was good, somewhat. Had the chicken sandwich it wasn't good. Curly fries and sweet tea were excellent. My husband had Swiss Mushrooms Burger, he said it was excellent and curly fries and sweet tea were good also. Employees were polite. Not one of my favorite fast food places. But I give it a Okay.

Our 5 year old dropped his cheeseburger and we needed to replace it. The first time going through the drive through the guy didn't offer any clarification on options for kids meal drinks and the second time we drove through to replace our sons cheeseburger we asked for a regular cheeseburger and they assumed for some reason we wanted it plain but again did not attempt to clarify. When we got to the window we clarified for them that we just wanted a cheeseburger. The manager on duty rolled her eyes and scratched her head and looked very inconvenienced. And then continued to pack food with her unwashed head scratching hands. Ew..

The food was great, and the customer service was poor. Engaging with customers in a positive light is important, and the young lady just gave me my food and quickly shut the window, and didn't even say thank you! I hadn't eaten at a Hardee's in years, and this experience kind of made me think negatively about what the food was going to taste like. Fortunately, it was good.
