Hardee's - Alexandria

$18 for 2 breakfast combos seems high, but it's pretty good for fast food.

I believe they have a button with my name on it! The staff is always friendly, and the friscos are consistently fresh.

The restaurant could definitely use a remodel and a thorough deep cleaning throughout. The food was decent overall, but I found the chicken sandwich to be lacking. On the other hand, the curly fries and sweet tea were excellent. My husband ordered the Swiss Mushroom Burger, which he really enjoyed, and he also thought the curly fries and sweet tea were good as well. The staff were polite, which is a plus. While it’s not one of my favorite fast food spots, I would rate it as just okay.

Our 5-year-old accidentally dropped his cheeseburger, and we needed to get a replacement. The first time we went through the drive-thru, the staff member didn’t provide any information about the kids' meal drink options. When we returned to replace our son's cheeseburger, we ordered a regular cheeseburger, but they assumed we wanted it plain without confirming. At the window, we made it clear that we just wanted a cheeseburger. The manager on duty appeared annoyed, rolling her eyes and scratching her head, which was quite off-putting. To top it off, she continued to handle food with her unwashed hands. It was pretty unpleasant.

The food was great, and the customer service was poor. Engaging with customers in a positive light is important, and the young lady just gave me my food and quickly shut the window, and didn't even say thank you! I hadn't eaten at a Hardee's in years, and this experience kind of made me think negatively about what the food was going to taste like. Fortunately, it was good.
