I really enjoyed the sandwich with goat cheese and onion marmalade.Selection was a little limited; we dined about an hour before closing on a Friday. Maybe their offerings are better at lunch hours.

I went for lunch and ordered their special which was cauliflower jambalaya and broccoli. The first bite i took was bone. The second bite i took was bone. The third and final bite i took was bone. The $10 plate i purchased was cold and in a salad container not even a scoop. I have since gotten sick several times. I would not have shared this much had I not been asked to expand on the one star rating. Sorry guys.

Very basic, doesn’t have many vegan or vegetarian options.

We picked this place (on Google) because it offers a good selection of vegetarian options and meat options too. I ordered a burger (meat) med rare and a Buffalo cauliflower appetizer. The burger was amazing! The cauliflower in Buffalo sauce was ok but rather expensive for what it was. My wife ordered a veggie burger, she like it and was very pleased that they make there own veggie burger patty instead of just a store bought patty like most places have. She also ordered a hummus something or other appetizer. She liked it and I tried a little (not a fan of hummus) but it was pretty good. She also got a berry smoothie but it wasn 't very good, I say it needed sugar, my wife said it needed either honey or agave as a sweetener. All and all we were happy with our lunch, it was a little on the expensive side at around $54 but we would definitely eat here again except for one small problem. We were in the middle of a road trip and we live about 4 hours away in east Texas. If you live nearby or are just passing through the Good People Kitchen is a great spot for some good food.

I cannot say enough about how great this find was for us. My wife has several food allergies and eating out is difficult. The offerings here were plainly marked on the menu so that ordering was easy and she was so grateful that she didn't have to worry about her food. The meal was delicious and the owner was amazing. They also have meal prep available!
