Firehook Bakery - Alexandria

This bakery offers good prices and a diverse array of pastries, cookies, cakes, and various packaged snacks to take home. Cake slices are just $5, and most individual items start at around $3. There is outdoor seating available, but the view overlooks a gas station and busy traffic. The treats are reasonably well-made for the price, although on my visit, the indoor seating was surprisingly warm for such a hot day.

I was very impressed! The prices were fantastic. I had a ham and cheese croissant that was delicious, a rich and flavorful cafe mocha, and a chocolate croissant that was good but could have used a bit more chocolate. Overall, I would definitely go back— I really enjoyed my experience!

What a beautiful bakery! The selection is truly impressive. I tried the za'atar croissant, and it was wonderfully flaky and perfect. The daily quiche was also delicious! I highly recommend this place.

I've bought 3 cakes from this local bakery within 2 years and each time they get better and better! The staff are always friendly, the baked goods are always fresh with quite an assortment to choose from, and my oh my, is their strawberry crème cake delicious! It's my favorite cake ever and one I buy every time it's either my partner's birthday or mine we love it! I love going to firehook bakery and hope they thrive as a local business so I can keep buying more cakes from them!
