Excellent music, great service, and attentive staff!

Having lived near the border and savored authentic cuisine, we’ve been on the lookout for good food at reasonable prices in the DC area. Unfortunately, most places seem to be quite pricey (for instance, $10-14 for three tacos). We had hoped this spot would offer a better deal, but it didn’t meet our expectations. At this price range for tacos, Mi Vida at the Wharf is a better choice, offering a lovely setting, excellent service, and a nice view of the water. While the food here wasn’t bad, it also didn’t stand out in any way and failed to differentiate itself from other options in the area.

This place may not be anything extraordinary, but it offers affordable, straightforward food that's surprisingly delicious. What else could you ask for?

Their Plato Típico is very good. Unfortunately they did not have plantains during this most recent visit.

Got some lunch from here, came out fresh and pretty fast tasted just as good
