Chewish Deli - Alexandria

I live in the neighborhood and get bagels here frequently. They are legit and hold up respectably to some of the best bagel shops in nyc. I was so happy to find a place this good to grab bagels in the DMV. Also love the cream cheeses!

We had an amazing grilled cheese sandwich at this restaurant. My son is usually very picky and only orders plain bagels with nothing on them, but this time I asked if they could make him a grilled cheese sandwich. It was delicious! They turned a plain bagel inside out and filled it with the perfect amount of cheese. I might even order one for myself next time.

I absolutely love this restaurant! Although it may be small, the food packs a punch. We visited on a busy Sunday morning and were still served promptly. The cold brew was delicious and the food was fresh. We even took some bagels home, which were just as tasty the next day.

Ordering at this restaurant on weekends is hectic. The limited space inside makes it difficult for customers to wait comfortably. Additionally, online ordering is not an option, adding to the inconvenience.

Great spot for quick bagel bite and delicious coffee! I ordered a bacon, egg, cheese on a salt bagel, and the wife ordered sausage, egg, cheese on Asiago bagel. We also ordered a cinnamon bagel with butter. Service was great and the food came fast. The flavor was amazing! The only downside was the bagel texture. It was pretty tough to chew and swallow.Parking: Parking is limited. You may can find a quick spot to hop out for 5 min. That's about it.
