Kowaliga - Alexander City

Great place, but a little expensive. wings are smoked and blinken fried. hush puppies are a bit dry and bland. it is average, but had a good crawl. the star of the show are the twirl rings. from the chain well with the kowaliga sauce. order them as soon as they sit.

Great eating, fantastic service and a great family atmosphere. nicole was the best server I ever had!

We had to wait for sitting, so we sat on the water and watched the sunset, turtles and the geese in the water. eating was great.

We ate there on the day of vaters on the way to cheaha state park. the prospects were spectacular (table 212) with turtles, fish, ducks and gänse all swimming. we had the filled sweet potatoes (delicious,! wobble rings (smooth,) grilled garnels (blandes with zero-grill marks or grilled taste,) arnold palmer with unsweet tea (also) and home salads. great place, great service, good food and spectacular view. highly recommended!

We love the friendly staff and beautiful views at Kowaliga Restaurant! Dock your boat and start with their chips and dip, then a delicious salad with smoked chicken or catfish, and top it off with a brownie and ice cream! Full bar, too!
