Aux Coquillages de Diana - Aléria

For a fish restaurant, I thought the fish was only interesting, not amazing. Great oysters, but sea bass and sea bream nice and red mullet adequate. In fact the freshness of the fish from the sea lake was its redeeming feature. We had a very pleasant lunch that turned out to be pretty expensive. So mixed feelings about this restaurant.

While living in Belgium my tongue has used to a rather high standard of quality oysters and mussels BUT these guys have really nailed it. I think mussels in the pot has slow cooked onions in butter? It comes with homemade French fries which you dip in the soup from the mussels. I loved every single bite of it!

We ate dinner in this beautifully located restaurant on our last evening in Corsica. If you want to enjoy the scenery, noon might be the better choice for a visit. The starter was delicious. We had a seafood platter with oysters, mussels, shrimps and snails. For main course we ordered different kinds of fish. The sea bream was a little bit to dry for my taste, I had better ones in Corsica. Overall a good experience and a great place to end our holidays.

Arrived at 12 and sat down and enjoyed the oysters, smelt, and cooked oysters. All while looking over the bay with great views, great service and nice wine choices. Don't miss this palce if in the area.

First of all:book a table outside and take your time time to enjoy the view and the seafood simply great ,it's hard to make a choice between so try different and share i expecially loved oysters .Be sure to reserve a space for the dessert ....
