The Aldgate Chip Shop

All in all the best fish and chips I've ever had. the crabs on the butter fish was crispy like, probably panko crumb or a variation of it, which was very edible in bite and chew. the chips tasted delicious and were fed with a kind of spicy, but whatever they seasoned was not very salty, which was great. I suspect that they were freshly cut chips, not prepowed tasteless chips that use most places nowadays. I also suspect that the tartaric acid sauce was made in the house and was also delicious. 99% of the time when you are served with wine sauce, it tastes sweet and pretty mago that I don't like much. it was also not charged for the tartar sauce when the command was made, my father and I did not ask what was very nice of the woman who served us. the only reason I decided to give only 4 stars was that the fish and chips were easily overcooked for my lust (my father did not notice it so that there was only something I would have cooked a little less). a really amazing place to take a bite and I look forward to eating again there, even if I have to make a special trip there to do exactly that. they also sell some hot chili sauces there that are made from a local near macclesfield that grow their own ingredients for the sauces, so I took a bottle. this bottle has carolina reaper chili in it, so it definitely has something hit on it. also delicious. and for $15, I think it's a fairer price considering that not much is needed on the side for a decent chili fix, paired with its meal. many thanks to the fact that they add even more special memories to a special occasion already spent with my father.

Had lunch here yesterday, got steak and gravy loaded fries potato salad, both were great. Friendly service too!

All delicious tonight. I had the brisket pack and my partner had only a pfirsich of butter fish and tabuli. aromen really delicious, chips in the house lubricated bbq sauce brisket just a touch dry. Crispiest fish I've ever had away from a take thank you!

Good mourning, it's dangerous to know that this place is on the way home. their burgers are banished, their donuts are excellent, and the arcade machine and melodies put the ambiente amazing. cool staff also:D keep the amazing work! food: 5/5 service: 5/5 atmosphere: 5/5 .more
