Puerto Del Emperador

We stayed for the weekend with our kids and our dog. Was very surprised, I would classify this more like a hotel. Rooms are cozy, great rural decor and extremely clean. Place is a couple minutes walk from the river pools and the town. Garden and terrace are amazing, we only had the included breakfast in the restaurant which is also pet friendly food was delicious the homemade cakes, jams and deli. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful, service was great. We will sure come back when visiting this area.

The review is about the restaurant, not the lodging. The reason I give 5 stars is because it didnt fail in anything and excelled in the following criteria: Great value for money Lots of details and flavours in the dishes. Particularly recommend Torrijas Amazing view and atmosphere from the terrace Personality and warmth of the owners and staff I 'll be back,

Service was extremely unhelpful and downright rude. Giving rigid instructions about how we should order items from the menu and getting offended if you didn't follow them to a T. Unwelcoming all around and the food was just fine, nothing to write home about or worthy of withstanding this kind of treatment or uncivil behaviour. Definitely would not recommend, avoid at all costs.

The service and the expectative food, but in times of heat lacks air conditioning

We were on vacation and arrived at the restaurant by chance, but we were delighted, the treatment by the waiters was impeccable, very friendly and attentive and the food was very good, it was noticed that everything was done at home and always with a touch of the land, we will repeat.
