Taberna Sem Regras - Alcobaca

We loved this restaurant. I very highly recommend it, because it's a lot more than food. It is an integral experience where the attention to detail is palpable, the passion for good savory meals is combined with excellent produce and delicate elaboration. We loved it. Just go, and try it. I'm sure you'll be as enchanted as we were.

What a great find. Lovely friendly staff and fabulous food. The fish Grouper and Red Mullet) was superb. Would love to return.

Good location by the monastery, friendly staff and good food. Our fried octopus was tasty but a bit on the rare side for me. The shrimp (gambas a taberna) was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked.

How sad we were not able to taste the obviously great food as after 1hr of waiting time with kids we were not even served some bread while everyone else even ppl arriving after us got food. Seems tourists are not welcome here would have appreciated to being told straight away and not after all this waiting time being told it would be my problem not theirs…
