Simple and copied workers’ meal.But then the welcome is frankly glacial!!!The boss should not be there when the medals of the smile and the friendliness were handed over.. to make him reproach, on a tone more than unpleasant that one never finishes his plate without worrying about why it is still a comble.

Okay it's well located in a quiet place on the passing road towards Brive-la-Gaillarde. simple and local cuisine. efficient service but frankly freezing, we feel like we're pulling an arm off the housemaster when we change our minds. full day menu for 17.30 €

We stopped in this restaurant a noon going back south west on a motorcycle. The welcome seemed a little cold but once installed, everything went well. simple meals but family cuisine of the terroir, just what it takes for a noon. The decor is a little dark, it feels a little locked up. short, simple and effective.

This restaurant epitomises what I love about France. You drive for hours and glimpse somewhere to stop for lunch. You park up and walk in. It looks seedy. Definitely no English spoken, you take a chance et viola. the lady walks you through to a lovely courtyard area at the back. You take a seat and proceed to enjoy a wonderful two hour lunch. Every table was full and deservedly so. Melon with delicate strips of smoked ham and melon sorbet, pate de foie gras followed by magret de canard and to finish, the cheese board. Cost was under 30 euros each. Only problem I had was that i fancied a nap afterwards instead of driving 300 kilometers to our next stop!
