Jones the Grocer - Albury

The staff here are always friendly and helpful and the food is always fresh and fast. The cheese is super and the staff always know what is the best cheese for the occasion.

Jones the Grocer serves arguably the best coffee and cakes in Albury. The apple and rhubarb friand is outstanding. They have a chilled cheese room, very good bread and an array of high quality deli products - an emporium. The staff are lovely and very obliging. Many locals and visitors in the know come here for take-away lunches. There's only about 10 stools up to benches to sit at. Jones the Grocer is a block back from Albury's main street, along from the exit to the Meyer's carpark.

The gourmet food, atmosphere and staff make it a lovely lunchtime experience.Food is always fresh and the coffee is the best. Even though it has limited seating patrons usually don't wait for long. Anyway it's a treat to look around the grocery section if you need to wait.

Had lunch here, the food was absolutely amazing and quickly delivered. Not a lot of room, but O.K. for a quick bite.

Jones the Grocer has been here for a while but is the best place for gourmet local, national and international foods - both fresh and packaged. A lovely cheese room. Delicious preserves. Take home meals. The small cafe offers only a handful of seats and is usually very busy serving simple lunches (think elegantly served quiche, succulent chicken sandwich or salad bowl) and excellent coffee. Small cake selection is freshly made. Friendly helpful staff make this place a delight.
