Vara Winery Distillery - Albuquerque

We had a gift card to use at the restaurant. Our first server didn't take my partner's food order properly. However, the food was very good, although the menu didn't have a wide variety of options. The last server we had was excellent. Overall, we experienced service from three different servers.

My partner is quite the French wine connoisseur, and Vara is definitely his top choice for wine and spirits in New Mexico! We also really enjoy the Spanish tapas menu, particularly the patatas bravas and the pan con tomate. It's a high-demand restaurant, but the staff is responsive, friendly, and efficient. I love having a wine flight with my lunch or dinner!

The wine selection is excellent, and the tapas are absolutely delicious. It's the perfect spot for a romantic date or a fun evening out with friends.
