Contribuiți la feedbackWe had a great time. Our cook was quite entertaining. We will definitely be back. Only negative was the air conditioning that switched on when cooking. It was very cold and hard in us. Kinda quickly made our food cold and it was a bit unpleasant. We asked if it could be turned off, but we are informed that it can only be on or off, but not regulated. You wouldn't turn it off until he was done. Then, when the cook started on the table next to us, it was turned on again, which made us all cold again.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food and service were outstanding!
We had a reservation for 6:00 and we sat right away, but apparently they didn't want us to sit there, so they asked us to move.... no biggie, but they placed us behind the chef. Not cool! So we moved to the other side of the dining room and the waiter who looked like he had come from a rough night, told us that he was really busy and that he would be back if he could. We took all the signs and just went away and went to the Japanese kitchen. That was an AMAZING experience. I hope this experience was just a little mishap and that it is no sign that this place is badly managed. Usually quite funny.
I would not recommend this restaurant at the moment, but perhaps in the future when they improve their customer service. The hostess/server was unfriendly and got the order wrong. Additionally, they did not correctly split the bill or include the gratuity as indicated on the receipt. Despite noting that it was my daughter's 16th birthday, the waiter either forgot or did not read the note. The restaurant was not busy, but the service was still lacking.
This restaurant is likely the only authentic Yakiniku spot in the ABQ region. The ambiance is pleasant, tidy, and modern. The interactive experience of cooking your own Yakiniku on a grill is enjoyable. The dishes were expertly made, but this place is a bit pricey. It's a fantastic spot for a romantic date night, with dim lighting, a full bar, and the option of sushi or grilled items. There's really nothing negative to say about this place other than the high prices. A meal for two? At least $75. A party of four or more? Expect to spend over $100. As long as you understand it's not a budget-friendly option, it's a wonderful place to dine.
