Samurai Grill Sushi - Albuquerque

3 stars are generous for our experience. They're for the grill. The not grill food and service is terrible. For example, the monkey brain shown here is a ton of Mayo on unzagged mushrooms with fake crabs inside. I speak of medium-western quantities of Mayo. When the server asked if everything was okay, would I have made them tell me? So, unless you order it with no? sauce? Sushi wasn't great and had to show another server for ginger, because she didn't check in with us for the fungus. Can I? ve left a good amount of the roll except she remained like me? not there after. She gives my partner the check, I pay, I give it to her, she tries to give the check to my partner AGAIN over my head. Could we? Two very different experiences. The barbecue that my partner loved, even if they gave him the wrong food. I wouldn't come back, but if you have a grill specific group, it's probably pretty good.

It's very rare that I get to come to Albuquerque but when I do, I always try and eat at Samurai. I was very disappointed in everything. I brought a first timer to experience the atmosphere of the whole habachi experience and boy it was nothing like how I first experience my first time at Samurai. No tricks from the chief, food was not the greatest. I ordered the New York Steak and shrimp. And both items were both rubbery. It may be awhile before I return to Albuquerque but I think Samurai just lost me as a customer.

The service food were good but you do have to wait a little for one of the chef to come and cook your food. It's a bit on the pricey side but overall good experience!

The food was fairly average, worthy of 4 stars. The extra star is for the hunky waiter. Woof! Service was excellent, and it was nice that there were not many people, at least on the sushi bar side (more people were enjoying the grill). My friend ordered the sushi, and he liked it. I had the NY steak bento.

Hands down the Best sushi in town. Im here visiting from Virginia and this was the absolute most delicious. Thank you so much. Very happy, full and grateful for amazing food and exceptional service.
