I think this is the best place for dinner, happy hour, a nice get together with friends. The food is reasonably priced and DELICIOUS, especially the desserts. My friend ordered the house margarita and I almost (almost) parted with my own brew for his!
We had a wonderful time at Matanza! The food and service were amazing. We definitely plan on returning.
The food was served cold and our server seemed completely confused.
We went for a pre theatre dinner which was a mistake. After an hour an a half the dinner still hadn’t been served. We left without dinner. The beer was flat . The place is so noisy it’s hard to hear the person across the table.
