Krung Thai - Albuquerque

Love the Pad Thai here, although Spicy level can vary. Normally I get 3/5 on the spicy level but sometimes it can range in that 5/5 level. Which Ive had before. But overall very tasty, still my go to Thai restaurant.

I can't recommend the Fried Catfish with Ginger Sauce; it came with just two small fillets and some dipping sauce for $18. The Spring Rolls were primarily filled with lettuce for $9. However, the other dishes were quite tasty.

For those unfamiliar with Thai cuisine, the "hard" and "inedible" pieces mentioned in other reviews are actually galangal and lemongrass. They’re not meant to be eaten (although you could chew them and spit them out for their health benefits) but serve as aromatics that enhance the flavor profile of Thai dishes. Additionally, they offer a fantastic selection of Lao dishes if you're interested in trying something from the other side of the Mekong River. I haven't sampled their Chinese and Vietnamese options yet, but I'm sure they're delicious, too.

I ordered the Red Curry with shrimp, accompanied by the usual side of white rice. It was delicious, with a medium spice level. It's been a while since I had Thai curry, and enjoying this for lunch was a true delight. The delivery was quick, though a bit pricey. I will definitely order from Krung Thai again.

The service is excellent and the curry is exceptional! This is still true!
