Horse Angel Tavern - Albuquerque

Love this spot! They put up with my atrocious behavior and unsightly appearance! I’ve never had to wait for anything. The food is very good. The prices are great. Great selection of spirits. Staff has always been timely in my experience. Nice location with a big parking lot. Good for cab or Uber service. Try it, you’ll like it!!

100% would not recommend! I came here with a bunch of my coworkers for Happy Hour and was provided terrible service by one of the bartenders. Upon leaving after having paid my tab I handed one of the other bartenders a cash tip that was more than 50% of my total bill. She had explained to us that they were short staffed and she was actually quite nice. I wanted to give her a little extra to show that I appreciated her being so kind even with having to deal with such a large crowd. When I checked my bank account the next day I was surprised to see that I had been charged an additional $10 even though I had put down $0 for tip because I had given the women cash. I called and spoke to the manager who said he would call me back, but he never did. At this point there is no reason to haggle over $10, but I definitely wouldn’t come here again.

This used to be a good restaurant, with good food and good service. The food is still good, but the service has gotten progressively worse when we've been there recently. Today was the last straw. My family and I took up 2 tables, and the tables ordered in close succession. After about 20 minutes, the other table got their food, but the table I was at did not; we asked if ours was coming out soon, and the waitress said it should be out soon. Another 20 minutes passed, and the other table was pretty much finished with their food; we still had not received our food. We asked the waitress why we had not received our food, and she seemed surprised that we hadn't gotten it yet. She went to the kitchen and asked if they had made our order; when she returned, she told us that the kitchen somehow lost the order ticket, so the food had never been made. She went and printed the order ticket again and handed it directly to the kitchen staff, telling them to make it now. She came back and apologized profusely, saying that the manager had agreed to give us a discount because of this. Despite the waitress telling the staff to make the order right away, it still took about 30 minutes for us to receive our food. We were almost at the point of leaving without eating when we finally received our food. That kind of wait is unacceptable! There should be no reason why the kitchen should have lost the ticket, and once the waitress went in to tell them to make our food right away, it should have been a rush order, especially to get the kids' food out. I appreciate that the manager gave us a discount to try to make it right, but I still won't be returning after the unacceptable service we got from the kitchen today.

Took a while to find a seat and get service. They were very busy and appeared short staffed. Fish and Chips were great! The burger was also good. Our server was good too. Overall we will go again. Yummy

It was my first time at horse and Angel and I liked the setup of the restaurant, we were meeting people, our waitress came fairly quickly and took our order our food came out a little slowly but not bad. The food was good my only issue was my server just presumed that the rest of my change was her tip, whereas she gave back change to the rest of the people at the table but kept my change. If she had asked I had left a tip at the table, but since she just presumed I kept all of the tip that was presumptuous brood and bad service. I don't know if she was a new server or what the issue was she barely came to our table anyway barely checked on us, it was my son and his friends homecoming night, it was special for them and she kind of ruined it for usVegetarian options: My friend easily found vegetarian options on their menu, and I wanted what she was having to.Parking: The parking is mixed with a lot of businesses, so it's mixed sometimes you can get close sometimes you have to walk a bit but there are handicap available easily.Wheelchair accessibility: There were multiple wheelchair accessibility parking spaces and wheelchair ramps and wheelchair van accessible space is also in the parking area and the floor space in the restaurant was available but the tables were possibly a little high.
