Dave's Valley Grill - Albuquerque

This place never disappoints! Make sure to leave room for the incredible dessert with peaches (I can't quite recall the name) that features famous New Mexico Biscochito cookie crumbs. The decor is unique, the bathrooms are clean, and hopefully, you'll have a pleasant waitress. It's a bit of a hit or miss experience, though.

I'm on a mission to try all the brunch spots in Albuquerque, and Dave's did not disappoint. The service was excellent from the entire waitstaff, and I enjoyed a delicious turkey sandwich on focaccia, along with handmade onion rings and some fantastic chocolate piñon coffee. The cherry on top? Free Wi-Fi! I really treated myself, savored my brunch, and managed to cross off quite a few items from my work-to-do list. No one kicked me out! I will definitely be returning!

We’ve been living in the North Valley for two years and only discovered this gem a month ago. I often drove past it without realizing it was there until I came across a review and decided to check it out for brunch. I sat in the lovely new lounge and ordered the Ham and Asparagus Benedict along with a Cranberry Mimosa. Both dishes were outstanding, cooked exactly to my preference and perfectly seasoned. The young man working in the bar area was incredibly efficient and attentive! We’ve been coming back every weekend since. Some of our favorite dishes include all varieties of Benedicts, the Steak Poutine Fries (trust me, I would come here just for these and a beer), and the Ribeye Omelette. In short, make sure to give this place a try this weekend – both breakfast and dinner are must-tries!

I'm 50/50. Burgers had really good taste. Sweet potato wafers were also amazing. Unfortunately, the prices were a bit high, and on onion rings for $1 replaced tons of pommes with 5 small onion rings. Our salad also had 2 tomato slices, 2 cucumber slices and a bowl full of salad. Deception... The staff was good and the food was fresh when it came out.

Food was good, the service was soooooo slow which is why the 3 stars. If you are not in a hurry, then it's a fine place. Took maybe 15 minutes to get a server to our table, another 15 more to get our drinks, maybe 10 more to order. The food did come out pretty quickly which was good and the portions are a good size. We may be back to see if it's better one day, but it was not enough to say a definite return.
