Christy Mae's Restaurant - Albuquerque

Yesterday was my first time eating there, and I can now understand why it has been in operation for so long. Despite being extremely busy, the personnel was incredibly nice and the place was very clean. The best American food I've ever had was what I consumed. Cooking is done in a home manner. Along with the chicken avocado sandwich, I also ordered potato salad. Both were quite tasty.

This place was just as good as other reviewers mentioned. We stopped here while we were here for the balloon festival and even though it was busy the food was made very good. Had the Pot pie ? and the Cheese burger.

This is a very adorable restaurant with amazing food. They had a spiced apple cinnamon tea that was very unique. Fantastic appetizers like fried zucchini and I tried the chicken pot pie and a avocado salad alligator pear which was the best salad I 've ever had in my life. I also asked for green chile ranch which was amazing! There were many desert options, but I was too full to order. I will be back again.

Cute old timey diner feel. Been around a long time so you know they're doing something right! One of the best Reubens I've had in awhile had to add green chile. Mashed potatoes tasted real not a powder. Coffee tasted good not too strong so I didn't need cream.

Hidden but if you were raised in Albuquerque, it?s well known. Delicious comfort food! You have to try their specialty iced tea with orange and cinnamon! So delicious that I couldn?t stop drinking it! I had the turkey pot pie and it was so yummy!!! Came out nice and hot! Service was pretty great! Abq doesn?t have many restaurants left with great customer service but this place is definitely one of them! Great food! Great management! Great staff! Affordable!!! Can?t wait to go back!
