Contribuiți la feedbackI will never return to this restaurant again. We made reservations for Mother's Day, only to find that Artichoke Cafe was closed when we arrived. There was no indication on their website that they would be closed that day. To make matters worse, we were actually asked to confirm our reservation! When I called to address the issue, the manager, Shane, tried to shift the blame to the digital reservation service, Resy. He claimed there was nothing he could do and seemed completely indifferent to our situation. If this were my business, I would have been utterly embarrassed and would have done everything possible to keep the customer satisfied. This experience leads me to believe that the restaurant is poorly managed. Considering it positions itself as a fine dining establishment in Albuquerque, one would expect a higher standard of care and attention, especially as a loyal customer over the years. There are plenty of better options for fine dining in Albuquerque. I highly recommend Los Pablonas instead, where you will enjoy exceptional food, outstanding service, and top-notch management!
I highly recommend the Artichoke Cafe! It deserves five stars. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, while the service is outstanding. Our waitress, Denise, truly went above and beyond. Everything was fast, friendly, and flavorful! We started with baked garlic, which was amazing. I ordered the Beef Tenderloin, and it was absolutely perfect! My partner had the vegetarian spinach ravioli and thought it was excellent as well. We were visiting from Santa Fe, known for its food scene, and we will definitely return! I have dined in cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Baltimore, enjoying many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say that Artichoke Cafe stands out. It might be a bit pricey, but you definitely receive a top-notch meal and attentive service. Simply perfect!
I had an early flight to DC the next day, so I took a quick trip to Albuquerque with friends who had never dined at this restaurant before. They are now fans! The scallops were delicious, the duck was, as always, divine, and the steak and frites pleased the gluten-intolerant member of our group. My husband also enjoyed the pork chop. This restaurant continues to be one of our highlights whenever we visit Albuquerque.
Outstanding food with a great variety of selections and excellent preparation and presentation. Service was excellent with the patience necessary to wait for us to walk our way through the different course selections.
Artichoke Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants in Albuquerque. Food is always excellent, service is too. My husband as usual started with a Caesar salad this one was colorful with mixed romaine lettuce), followed by prime rib. I started with tomato basil soup and had the crab cake appetizer as my entree. Perfect portions leaving room for essentials like dessert. Completing the meal was the cheesecake with candied ginger.. a nice lighter version.
