Excellent food and friendly service ,the Paella is superb ..wine is very reasonably priced ..Clean plates all around

The staff was friendly and the food was as delicious

The food is delicious, especially the Chicken Cataplana. It reminds me of my traditional dish, a kind of ostropel, only that the chef added big pieces of red and green pepper and they put coriander leaves, which brought extra taste. It is a recipe that I want to try at home. The waiter and waitress were friendly, unlike I had met in the centre of Albufeira, where I passed the front of the restaurants, and the waitpersons were trying aggressively and desperately to hook us. In addition, everything is much more expensive. I know that's their job, but this approach is not my taste. A negative remark would be the restaurant's appearance, which does not seem modern. Hungry tourists prefer to go to an attractive restaurant with a modern design. I also fell into this trap. Across the street from Os Amigos is a busy restaurant. I can say that some people were waiting at the front door to get a table, but the experience was disappointing. The food was little, cheap-looking and the wait persons were unfriendly In a way, it's frustrating to see that across the street, someone is making money, and you have days when the restaurant is empty, even though the food is much better. If they reconditioned the furniture, I think it would be more attractive to customers. The restaurant must not lose its charm, but combining old and new designs would be great.

Really friendly staff with good honest food. The food is simple and tasty and you don’t get ripped off. Lasagna was great!

Both me and my husband had Portuguese style kebab. They were cooked perfectly, all the trimmings were fresh and plenty off them. Highly recommend, we ate out every night of the week and this was by far the best meal we had.
