Nothing special, nothing pretentious. Just good local grub and friendly service. Worth a look though probably not with a first date.

You might just drive past this little snack bar at the side of a busy road and not give it a second look. But boy, you would lose out, Big Time! Very popular with the locals, this vibrant little 'tasca ' has the best bifanas (hot pork sandwiches) anywhere to be found. Eaten with the local piri-piri hot sauce, they are delicious. But it doesn 't end there. The draught beer is well chilled and makes for a divine pairing. They also serve daily tapas which are really worth checking out, along with the roast suckling pig sandwiches available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And all at very reasonable prices. Carlos, the owner is ever present and looks after his customers with a smile and an energy that is hard to find today. Try it. You will not be dissapointed. Trust me on this one!

Bifana is a sandwich with warm slices of pork meat that you can eat with mustard or with piri-piri During the week there are alway different tapas to eat. They present a wide range of fantastic wines from Portugal. A place to meet the locals, from the bank directors to the house constructors. A must do in your holiday!

Tudo foi incrível, muita quantidade e muito barato. David, o garçom que nos serviu é maravilhoso. Também permitem cães tanto no interior como no terraço coberto!!!
