Contribuiți la feedbackVisited tonight without reservation. immediately missed. beautiful sitting corner outside where we watched the sunset. eating is fab. I have the Corse menu. charcuterie with warm fresh bread, then calbspot with tagliatelle. other half had menu de la mer. local. fish soup served with crumbs and cheese then sea roast. desserts for both a cherry cake that was much better than expected. service was perfect. no feeling to be hastened, but if necessary. for the two, three cursor meals with a bottle of wine and water it was 78 euro. I hope we'll be back before we go and probably order again calbstau. would recommend!
We ate dinner here one night while staying at the Radisson blu. Tried the set menu with meat plate, veal stew and chestnut cake. Chestnut cake was wonderful. Veal was a bit boring, plate of cut meats was ok. My wife had the seafood menu...with sea bream. It was also ok but nothing special. There are better options in the area.
After booking a table earlier in the day my girlfriend and I were looking forward to our dinner here. The prices were expensive but as it was our last night we thought it would be a treat. Unfortunately we never got to eat here because...of the terrible service. As we arrived we were taken to our table and asked what drinks we would like. We weren't even provided with a menu at this point so had no idea what was available. The waitress then provided one and left us to make our decision. 35mins went by without anyone approaching us again despite making eye contact with the various waiters and others being served before us who had arrived after. I've never walked out of a restaurant before but on this occasion we promptly left. I would not expect this kind of service from a restaurant especially with such high prices. We visited next door instead who provided amazing service and at much more reasonable prices with generous portions! Rive Sud could definitely learn a thing or two from them
It was our last night in Corsica before flying home and we decided to dine here rather than messing up the villa kitchen, having looked at trip advisor before hand. The restaurant had a lovely ambiance and we were seated promptly having phoned earlier and...booking a table. (I would advise to book on a sat and Friday night) Having experienced very generous portions elsewhere we decided to share starters between couples. We were not disappointed. They were large and very good. Our mains were also generous as well and none of us had room for dessert. The food was of a very high standard and everyone agreed that they enjoyed their food. Service was very good and friendly and wasn’t intrusive. Prices were a little more than than the neighbors but it was well worth it. The road out front wasn’t noisy at all and didn’t block the view of the sea. The wine list was good and had a nice selection of local wines. We were all given a shot of Mirto as well which went down well. My wife and I would dine here again. Thank you Rive Sud for a nice night.
Wonderful fresh fish restaurant. expensive than its neighbours but the food is excellent. I had the bouillabaisse and it was a special treat.
