Lido Della Palma - ALBISOLA SUPERIORE

The location itself is great...they have indoor seating but I love eating on the terrace, with the sound of the water hitting under our feet. I go quite often and have to say, the food is always good, and fresh. Now, I agree with some reviewers...the owner is not the “friendliest” person at first however, she lightens up after a while ; and, this is Liguria after all not famous for friendly customer service. Just roll with it, you’ll love the ambiance. As for the waiting staff...they are young and learning. We all had to learn our trade at some point! It’s a great place, and they do everything to ensure the food is amazing which is by far the most important thing. And the location is fab because on the water yet not on the passeggiata (huge plus when in Albisola . I would def recommend you go there for dinner when in town. And, don’t forget to call for a reservation!! They are always packed!

We stubled upon this hidden gem last week on our way from the south of france to Varese. We were passing Albislola at lunch time and thought it would be nice to lunch by the sea. My husband asked a local who recommended this restaurant. It is directly on the beach and looks very much at home there. The food was creative and the seafood so fresh that it was a delight to eat. The servings are generous and service friendly and warm. Very few tourists and mostly locals.

This is indeed a nice spot. The Resto is part of a seaside establishment, thus with a sea view. Nice decor and wonderful vibes. Food was well done and shaped by quality ingredient. Highlight: calamari and artichoke as starter- great.

Posto bellissimo! soprattutto in un giorno speciale, quando si decide di non essere a casa, ma siete ugualmente a casa.

Gestione cortese e professionale. cucina molto accurata che utilizza materie prime di ottima qualità.
