Alberton Bakery & Cafe

Not much to write about. Staff are friendly bit the layout of the bakery is not inviting. Did not buy much. Only a chocolate milk.

This place came recommended for breakfast while staying a few days in Alberton, it did not disappoint. The breakfast was amazing, fresh eggs, perfectly cooked bacon with toast from homemade bread all for only $4.49. It was the best breakfast we had while visiting the island, we came back the second (last) morning we were in the area for another breakfast. Amazing!

Great breakfast sandwiches. The coffee was tres ordinaire but for the price, I would come back here again and again.

The food at this restaurant is good, but I was not impressed with the small entrance which often caused congestion while waiting for food. The bakery purchases being made in the same line as food orders was inconvenient and they should have separate cashiers for each. There needs to be a designated area for waiting that does not block the way. I ordered 2 BLT sandwiches to go and had to wait 20 minutes for them to be handed to me, which was very disorganized. I don't plan on returning to this restaurant.

Best Coffee Shop/Bakery ever! We stopped in here on a motorcycle trip by chance and I would go back to PEI just to go there. Sandwiches are made of fresh homemade bread that just melts in your mouth and the coffee taste amazing. Service is like stopping in to visit your mother you haven't seen in years. Highly recommend this place.
