La Fontana 1914 - ALBEROBELLO

We were headed to another place in town that was closed when it was supposed to be open. Lucky for us, we found this gem! It’s been open for over 100 years and we could see why. Everything is very fresh and mostly homemade. They have these bombette (little sausage like meat rolls) in a sandwich. Very unique (and delicious) indeed. My wife got some of the mozzarella made in the town and that really rocked us. If your in Alberobello and want a lovely lunch, check this place out!

We went here by recommendation, and it was a good recommendation. We had a half hour wait to get seated at the outdoor tables, which was good, seeing how busy it was. The mixed grill includes a rolled pork thing with cheese in it that was delicious. Very reasonable prices for the area.

That goodness situated in the main square of beautiful tree, the braceria the fountain is the right place where you can try the Apulian delicacies. at lunch I tried their legendary sandwich with the bombettes and was terrific, the quality of the bread was excellent and the meat then was goose, at a very honest price. in the evening instead I wanted to taste their meat, made on the grill and it was a show, really tender, tasty esi melt in the mouth. I recommend everyone to try their dishes. They are exceptional.

Braceria in the square in the center of mast. a lot of variety of meat, which you can choose directly at the counter. The bombettes are delicious. excellent prices in price quality.
