Gourmandise Co - Albany

This breakfast spot in Albany is a hidden gem! Step into this cozy and beautifully decorated cafe and feel like you've been transported to the heart of France. I tried the spiced rice porridge which was satisfying and filling, while my companion had the perfectly cooked baked eggs. We also couldn't resist trying some of their delicious baked goods. The staff was attentive and friendly, providing fast service. We will definitely be returning to try more of their menu. Highly recommend this place!

I used to think the idea of food evoking such emotions was far-fetched, until I experienced it here. No bakery within a 500km radius can match the quality of the pastries at Gourmandise; they are truly in a league of their own. This is not a place that churns out mass-produced, overly sweet, empty-calorie treats. Everything is exceptional, from the perfectly balanced flavors to the nostalgic aromas and textures. The friendly staff adds to the relaxed yet efficient atmosphere. I can't recommend this place enough; it's always bustling with activity for good reason.

A must-visit spot. A small slice of France in the heart of Albany. Prices are a bit high, but the flavors are incredible. The croissant was truly exceptional.

It is highly recommended for lovers of the French breakfast. we enjoyed the salmonquiche and a basket of croissants, served with butter and jam.

The quality of the pastries here is outstanding. I was lucky enough to get in early today and had the apple tart tatin. One of the best I've ever had and I must admit I've tried way too many in my time
