Pizza King - Albany

I was informed that my order would be ready in 35-40 minutes, but when I arrived 38 minutes later, I watched them begin to assemble my pizza and put it in the oven. I eat here 2-3 times a month, and I find that only about 1 out of 3 visits is excellent. At least I had plenty of time to write this review while I waited.

I used to really enjoy the pizza from the Albany location; it was genuinely one of the best around. However, it seems like times are changing for the worse. The quality has been declining steadily. I even brought my delivered pizza back to show the manager, asking if this is really what you get for a $35 pizza. She looked at me and asked what was wrong with it! When your slogan is "to the edge," it makes me wonder if it really is. There was hardly any cheese on it; I've seen better quality from most frozen pizzas. The manager kept insisting that I explain what was wrong, and I simply replied that if she couldn't see the issue, that said it all. I left with my disappointing pizza, stating that I shouldn't have to teach them how to make a proper one. Clearly, this management doesn't uphold the same standards that the Pizza King franchise is known for!

We ordered an 11-inch original sub but only received an 8-inch one. There were no other orders, so it wasn't like they were busy. This is why we typically prefer the Farmland location!

Always a good place to get a great pizza. Their breadsticks are always good also. The dining room is always clean and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Best Pizza King in Delaware County. Nice, roomy facility and good pizzas. Get breadsticks half baked yum!
