Petes Duck Inn - Albany

Me and my girlfriend like to find family own restaurants and try them out and I fell in love with this place. I got the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and it was the best buffalo chicken sandwich I've ever had. I actually ended up getting two it was so good. The staff was very friendly and the bar had a pretty good atmosphere. Much older crowd, but that didn't bother us.

We had a cousins' reunion at Pete's Duck Inn in Albany, Indiana. We had a wonderful time. Laughed and loved being together. The service was terrific. The food was good. We came from Florida, Missouri, Ohio and Indiana. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich...my first at a restaurant. It was huge and I couldn't finish it. We have enjoyed many meals at the Duck and look forward to many more.

The food at Pete's is outstanding! They serve the best pork chops, chicken, and virtually everything else on the menu. Even as a corner bar, they could succeed without serving alcohol, purely based on their excellent food. The bar has a welcoming atmosphere for locals, while the delicious food attracts customers from all over. Additionally, the service is commendable.

If you're having trouble deciding, go for the tenderloin Budweiser juicer—it's a great choice!

Wonderful Memories. I remember reaching up to grab delicious sandwiches at the back window as a kid in the 70s. Our family would eat inside and bring food home. Pete has really done an amazing job preserving my memories of the Green Duck Inn. I've also enjoyed Pete's food when he catered for the Albany Golf Club, and it was always delicious. Today, I visited Pete's again and ordered three breaded tenderloins along with two side dishes, all for under $25. What a fantastic deal! It fed four adults, and we didn't leave a crumb behind. Thank you, Pete!
