New World Bistro Bar - Albany

Great fusion menu with so many GF options! Gluten free and vegan eaters will be thrilled as well as meat and gluten eaters.

Everything was great! Very friendly service, patient and accommodating. We had candied pork belly, calamari, and charcuterie to start and each was superb with many layers of flavor. For our entree we had the NY strip with potatos red onions in cream, eggplant, topped with onion rings and garlic butter, exactly as I hoped and expected. If your thinking of going, go. AMAZING food. The pumpkin hummus and eggplant 'meatballs ' were to die for. The service was great; we ended up eating our dinner at the bar instead of waiting for a table- our choice (Saturday night/no reservations , and the 2 bartenders were incredibly attentive and very friendly. Unfortunately we live 3 hours away in NJ, otherwise we 'd be back there often! :

We had a wonderful time at NWB tonight. I had the best hamburger I have ever had. The ice cream sandwich was delicious! And our waiter Noah was amazing!!

The best restaurant, by far, in the Capitol district, in my opinion. I had a private party here and all guests were as impressed by the food as I am! Big favorites of mine include Korean pork belly, eggplant meatballs, and blackened string beans! Go there, you will not be disappointed!
