Hunter's -b-q - Albany

Pretty good, but not great BBQ. I enjoyed the pulled pork plate with one side of vinegar and baked beans. The pig was good, but not great. The claw was really good like the beans. I spent $12 for lunch, not too bad for the amount of food you receive. I really enjoy the ambience of the place, so many decorations on the wall!

The pulled pig was amazing! The boiled cabbage and the potatoes were also great until I found paprika there! (I'm allergic) I had no idea they were stuck in peppers in cabbage! Would definitely come back!

My husband and I discovered this place that goes to GA. We ordered both pig plates and had swamp cabbage, which I had as the second side potato salad, and my husband had pigtails thick cut curly frying. The food was hot and plentiful. Definitely recommend.

It was unexpected to find decent BBQ in such an off-farm situation. Also had a variety of hot dogs and good sides. Make sure to visit their toilets for some humorous signage.

There are many gems in Albany, KY, but Hunter?s is in a league of its own. The best BBQ I?ve had in Kentucky or Tennessee, the friendliest people you?d ever hope to meet, and homemade bbq sauce that dispenses from 5 gal buckets! Bring cash, because they don?t accept cards!
