Bellini's Counter - Albany

It takes a lot to wake me, but Bellini did. I ordered to build my own salmon bowl and it was amazing. All fresh and delicious. And the salmon was better than anyone you would find in a high-end food restaurant. Perfectly cooked, perfectly fresh. From meeting with the staff after my meal it is clear why; Bellini's orders of freshly caught whole salmon, prepares and fills the fish in the house it is the best you ever have. All other menu items looked just as good. If you have the opportunity to stop, I would recommend you give it an attempt, you will not be disappointed!!

This place is a hidden gem, perfect place to to if you want Italian food fast. The food is easily 5 star, the only reason I do not give this restaurant 5 stars is due to the high prices. The portions they provide are huge, but be prepared to spend at least $15 per person.

I love getting my salad here, but the last two times I have gone to this location (6 months apart), I have been disappointed with my order. I order online because I'm usually passing through the area. My protein of choice is chicken cutlets, and sometimes I order extra. Today, and the last time I ordered, I found grilled chicken in my salad, making me completely insane. I did not order grilled chicken AT ALL. Why then am I finding it in my food??? I do not like grilled chicken and it ruins the taste of my salad. Also, I had ordered my dressing ON THE SIDE, because I had a 30+ minute drive back to my house. The dressing was not on the side, it was on the salad. I had also ordered extra dressing, which was not included and I had to go back inside to get it. I would have had them completely remake my order when I noticed the dressing was not on the side, but I had to get back from my lunch by a certain time. I did not know there was grilled chicken in my salad until I drove 30 minutes back to my house. I am extremely frustrated with the New Scotland Ave, Albany location for screwing up my last two orders. I would give them two stars, but I love my CORRECT salad bowl enough to give them three.

Don't waste your time here. Apparently they don't care about the quality of there food when it goes out the door. We ordered there signature dish the Fredo and it had no fredo sauce. Just pesto and alot of greesy oil. The bread sticks were the size of a pretzel and almost as hard. The Stuyvesant plaza store is much better.
