The Harbour Beer Parlour, Alappuzha

You have to understand these 4 stars are wrt to places in Alappey. It's apparently the only place in Alappey where a woman can have a drink. So, yea. The beer variety was decent and the chilli beef was . Did I mention it's right opposite the beach?

This restaurant is locally right along the beach which gives it great views. The space is quite airy and the ambiance is lovely. The food menu is average. However when we visited the place was short staffed and they informed us that any order would take a minimum of 45 mins. So ended up ordering a cold coffee and fries which came in 20 mins. Wish we could have tried some more stuff here.

Not all that great. There aren't a lot of meal options. Employee behaviour isn't all that great. Around 10 p.m., the restaurant closes. It's also a bar and a beer hall, and if we request anything after 9.30, they tell us all the kitchen is shut. They actually forgot, I believe, that Alappuzha is a popular worldwide tourist attraction!!!

One of the few places which serves alcohol and therefore very crowded. Also the seating is limited which does not help at all. Strongly recommend booking in advance if you want to visit this place. The food is good, a bit on the higher side due to demand and ambience. Its right opposite Alleppy beach which is also one of the most crowded beach there. If the place is full the waiters won't even look at you twice or entertain you. They just wish that you leave and stop bothering them.

Good place to have seafood with a beach view. The food was palatable prepared in kerala style and was mild in spice. The design of the place is in a beach shack style but giving a very kerala courtyard vibe which is just lovely. Overall I give a big thumbs up. I had a good experience.
