Alaaddin Beach - Alanya

Nice hotel with a good pool and beach. Also nice food

We have stayed at the Alaaddin many times over 10 years. The hotel is beautiful in a perfect location. The waiters are faultless. The food is typically Turkish. This year we were allocated a room on far side near park. We requested paid for sea view when booking. The owner seems to be making money out of holiday makers. Apparently it does not matter what room you pay for, you are allocated a standard room then when you arrive, you are requested to pay €10 per day to upgrade for a sea view which you have already paid for. He actually told some people that if you hook via agency, you will get standard rooms. If you book direct, you will get sea view. Someone asked for an extra pillow and they charged €3 per day !!! The travel companies need to be aware of this. If you go, have a night at the Reggae Bar, 15 mins walk to beach 22. Worth the walk

Nice and quiet, we stayed for a night, rooms are not bad but restaurant is good and has very tasty food. The beach is busy at mornings and they have entertainment at Saturday nights like like music. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

A great place, right on the beach and close to the city. Very good atmosphere in general and nice staff at the bar/restaurant. The only downside is the room it seemed a bit outdated, and the reception wasnt showing much attention during both check in and check out. All in all a great experience.
