San Luis Valley Pizza Company - Alamosa

During dinner, we spotted some sombreros on the bar and wondered if the kids could take some photos in them. Even though we finished dinner after 9, when the restaurant was supposed to close, the staff graciously led us to the back room and helped us take pictures with the sombreros. We ended up staying until 9:30, having a blast and sharing lots of laughs. They didn’t once make us feel bad for being late; instead, they were incredibly friendly the whole time.

This place is fantastic! I’m not familiar with the area, but I was looking for dinner and found this spot based on its good reviews—here’s another one to add! I had a group of 12 on short notice and we ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were quite tasty. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The dining area was clean and spacious, making for a pleasant atmosphere. The margaritas were delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, it was a lovely experience!

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever experienced. Maria came to our table and engaged with us, even introducing us to some of her family—it truly felt like a family gathering. We'll definitely be back tomorrow and every time we're in or near Alamosa. Thank you all for the wonderful meal, excellent service, and warm friendship!

Great staff and the food was very good except for the cheese enchiladas. They were bland, two of our party ordered the chimichongas and both liked them better than the ones we get in Denver. Margaritas were good but bartender is a little light on the tequila and I speak as a former bartender. We will be returning on our next trip to Alamosa.
