Starbucks - Alameda

I had a really pleasant experience here this morning. I was with my 6 years old daughter and when we ordered, my daughter asked to the nice girl at the cash register if she could pretend to give her also cat food for her stuffed cat. She took a small empty cup and gave it to my daughter as pretend cat food. A simple nice gesture that made our visit to Starbucks a great experience for us and for the people around my really active, now entertained, daughter.

I truly love the coffee and food here. The baristas are very friendly, and I really appreciate all the hard work you put in. Keep it going, everyone!

This Starbucks location is open until 9:00 PM, which sets it apart from other spots in Alameda that close at 7:00 PM. My husband usually orders a venti caramel frappuccino, while I tend to go for a tall iced skinny cinnamon dulce latte or a tomato mozzarella panini. I'm really excited that Starbucks has brought this panini back—it's my absolute favorite! In fact, I think it tastes even better than some margherita pizzas I've had in Downtown Oakland. The baristas here are friendly and accommodating, although they can sometimes overlook customers waiting to order when they are busy. I prefer not to interrupt them, so I wait until they notice me. Overall, I enjoy this Starbucks, especially for its late hours.

I frequently visit this Starbucks, and I’m always impressed by the service. Shannon genuinely tries to remember her customers' names, and she is consistently friendly, always smiling no matter how busy it is. The customer service here is outstanding!

The Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino is delish.
