Habanas Cuban Cuisine - Alameda

I took a stroll across Park Street Bridge and noticed a Cuban jazz restaurant on the corner of Webb and Park. Intrigued, I decided to sit at the bar. A friendly woman greeted me and suggested a meal and a drink since I didn't have a menu. Her recommendation was spot-on, as the crab cakes were delicious. I enjoyed them so much that I ordered two more to share with my neighbors at the marina. The mojitos she made were refreshing, and I couldn't tell if it was the quality of the alcohol or the care from my waitress that made them so great. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Habanas and would highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys great hospitality and delicious flavors. - Mark Davin

I absolutely love this restaurant! The staff here treat you like family and are incredibly kind. The food is amazing, and the drinks are excellent. Even though I'm usually not a fan of mojitos, this restaurant has changed my mind. The live music adds to the already beautiful atmosphere. I come here frequently and every time has been fantastic!

I enjoyed a delicious lunch date at Habanas yesterday. The plantain nachos were perfect: colorful, refreshing and plentiful. The grilled shrimp and rice was creamy. I recommend both dishes and the Cuba Libre drink. Our server was inviting and responsive. The atmosphere is bright with enjoyable music and skylights. I look forward to returning.

Food was great and the wait staff and bartenders were great as well. DJ Eddie was spinning music and kept everyone dancing. Definitely will go back.
