Contribuiți la feedbackGem's Chinese Restaurant in now my local favorite, and for good reason! The potstickers are a must-try, perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with a delicious savory filling. Their BBQ fried rice is another standout dish, generously packed with tender meat in every bite, making it incredibly satisfying. The family style interior and friendly staff only add to the experience, making every visit to Gem's feel special. Whether you're a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, Gem's Chinese Restaurant never disappoints! Vegetarian options: With a wide array to select from, they also take into account your spice level since I like my food on the spicy side.
Last month I lucked out in finding a Chinese take-out place still open around 9:15pm when I was on my way back to S.F. after playing some golf at Corica Park. I ordered their special meat combo fried rice and wasn't expecting it to be so good delicious w/fresh ingredients and very well-cooked. They gave me a lot of food in a big carton and did not skimp at all on the meat portions like many of the other Chinese restaurants-takeouts do. I was definitely full when I finished the meal. And the woman at the front counter was very friendly. The only reason I didn't give them 5-stars for Service was that I had to wait a long time for my order. But that was b/c they had some big orders to fill before me.
We love their spicy salt and pepper wings. So good. One order each of is. Chopsuey is excellent, and Gin combination fried rice is a staple for us. YUM!
Their phone order menu said $33 for a three-person meal but when we got there it was $50Ready in twenty minutes the food was cold it was not Good tasted old I'm very upset I will never order from them again Ended up throwing the food awayVery nasty
Wanted to try a new Chinese restaurant with my son; ordered fillet fish with black bean source, and com pau chicken… both were terrible. Fish was fried and too salty, the rice was half done; (how can you possibly mess up on cooking steam rice). I called and the lady gave me the chef who simply said “Oh maybe there was not enough water “, and no apologies.
