A true hidden gem in Alameda! A great way to enjoy good wine made on location here in the Bay while enjoying a phenomenal view of San Francisco and the water. I have visited 4 times now and I'm coming back for more.Their wine is great! I have done 2 tastings and have bought multiple bottles of reds and whites to take home and have loved each one! My personal surprise favorite this summer was their 2018 Grenache but they have so much good variety.You can do a tasting for about $25 each person OR for a $10 corkage fee per visit, you can totally have them open up a bottle or more for you on the spot, enjoy them at your leisure and take the rest home.The staff team is wonderful. I have now spoken with at least 6 staff members in my visits and they have all been kind, knowledgeable and very attentive to their guests. I am not a wine club member and they make me feel like I am.The location is gorgeous inside and out. Theres no bad seat in the house. Outside is a beautiful patio with shaded tables and plenty of space. Inside is the wine bar with the great open view of all the wine barrels resting while you sip. The outdoor area is a great space if you have kids and it is also pet friendly. We brought our kids and our dog on a Sunday and were able to enjoy without worrying about making arrangements for them. You can bring outside food or you can order from different vendors they have on Saturdays and Sundays.

We usually got to the breweries in alameda but opted for wine this time around. First off the view is spectacular! Literally the best view of the city. Everything else was just ok. We walked to the host stand and waited around for a few minutes for anyone to show up. Finally someone came and seated us. Since it was our first time there he shared a little information about the company which was very insightful. He let us know they're known for their Zinfandels so I ordered that flight while my partner ordered the taste of Dasche flight. One of my glasses had things floating in it so I flagged down our server. He shared that they're an organic cellar and it's just settlements of the wine making process. Still gross to see things floating, but I accepted it and moved on. We ordered the charcuterie box to snack on. There were lots of different cheeses but the pretzel things were gross, they shouldn't be refrigerated in my opinion, and the jam it came with did not taste pleasant. Being an avid wine taster I found the wine to just be ok. I'm only giving it 3 starts strictly because of the view. Food rating Wine 6/10 Charcuterie box 3/10 Customer service 6/10 Ambiance 10/10!!!

This place is great for a date night or to just hangout with friends. Service is solid. The wines are good (IMO) and the views are amazing! The outdoor setup and scenery are the main draws of this place for me, but that bay area weather can sometimes make it less enjoyable, especially once the sun starts to set and the wind-chill kicks up. The only reason I'm holding it at four stars is because they don't have a consistent food menu to pair with the wines. They have pop-up food trucks that can vary. Absolutely excellent! Scott provided exceptional service and ensured that my experience was truly unforgettable. The wine was outstanding, and the location is unique, situated right next to the marine yard where the USS Hornet is docked. Their Zinfandels are brighter and crisper than those from Lodi. If you enjoy steak or stew and are looking to explore different Bordeaux blends and variations, I highly recommend giving this place a try!
