Bowl'd Bbq - Alameda

Just like the Oakland location, Alameda Bowl'd offers ample space and convenient parking. The food was consistent with what we had experienced before.

I visited this restaurant before the pandemic and was very impressed with the food, but not enough to write a review. However, after the pandemic, my friend and I visited again and were extremely impressed with the courteous service we received. The dishes were all delicious and came in generous portions. What prompted me to write this review was the exceptional service we received, which was far better than what we have experienced at other restaurants that charge $38+ per entree. Every time a staff member walked by our table, they would ask if we needed anything or wanted more of the small appetizer dishes. The wait staff was consistently attentive and polite, making us feel respected and well taken care of. As seniors, we were touched by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. It was a true treat to receive such excellent service in this day and age.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. As vegans, we ordered the spicy ramen and the kids' rice bowl with tofu. The service is outstanding, with staff constantly checking in to ensure you are enjoying your meal.

Loves the pig's stomach. Pays $34 for it and $4 for a can silk. 38 was my sum. I've never been here and I'm not from here and that came for bbq. Well costed, but I paid a meal for 2

Post-pandemic, my friend and I visited again and we were so impressed by the polite services we received. The dishes were all very tasty and generous portions. What led this review was because we get much better services than those in places that serve $38 /Entrée. Every time an employee would hand us over, he would ask if we needed something or want more of the little appetizers. They were often past our table; there was never a need to get their attention as we had to do in most other restaurants now-a-days. Each waiting staff was super attentive and polite. As seniors, we were touched by these hardworking and polite, friendly and really sweet employees. They treated us with respect, no ageism at all, only simple excellent services. What a treat this day and age!
