Morales - Alajuela

Excellent service, delicious local food and great descent to the earthy atmosphere. they don't have to pay much to have an excellent evening! countless beers, whiskeys and several main and beside dishes for the four of us equaled about $85. highly recommended for a local TOP experience.

The best bar in Alejuela! Discovered it because I happened to stay nearby, then every local I mentioned Bar Morales to regaled me with tales of the best bar in Alejuela! Ronald is a great bartender, their homemade chili is fire and the chifrijo will bring me back every time I'm in town!

Nice little corner bar, filled with friendly locals. Not a lot of English spoken here and limited selection of beer.

This place was recommended by our hostel near us. it was fast, cheap and eating was fantastic. we were the only non-Spanish speakers in the bar, and the personal speaks sufficiently English. I would recommend this place and would return if we had time. we had octopus stew with rice and something similar to the blackjambalaya. both were great.
