To my surprise Manam Cafe is prepared for the situation and had their own ramp for wheelchair and mobile scooter. We ordered Crispy Pancit Palabok, Sisig, Lechon Kawali, and Bulalo for our soup. Food and Service 10/10
No wonder why waiting here would always take you a while because the food is plus it is affordable. That makes the waiting all worth it! Ambiance is also good!
Every time I wine and dine a balikbayan, a Fil-foreigner who’s in the country for the first time, or a full-blown foreigner, I take them to Manam. It isn’t genuine, ancient, traditional Filipino, but I feel the food represents our tastebuds in a refined, modern, yet still somehow authentic manner.
First time to dine here. Tried the Sinigang with watermelon. The broth lacked heat/“hotness” when it was served but it tasted good anyway. It’s more on the sweet side rather than sour. Liked the wings with patis (forgot exact name). It’s crunchy, sweet and not salty actually. We ordered medium, 8pcs. Tried their house sisig too. It was okay. Kare-kare in oxtail was okay too though their sauce was light-colored. Im used to eating karekare with dark-colored sauce. The shrimp paste was good! We loved their drinks! Will go back here and try the other dishes.
We had to wait over an hour to get seated but its understandable since it was Mother's Day when we came. It was worth the wait. Service is really good.
