My only complaint is that they close at 3, and I'm not downtown at that time very often. Guess I have an excuse to go earlier then. Parking: Like everything else downtown there's paid street parking right outside, but it's only $1/hour. It could be harder to find parking at peak times though since it's pretty limited.
In addition to great food and tasty coffee beverages, the folks who took care of us at Chameleon Cafe on our visit there were incredibly kind and helpful. We sat outside with our dog, who got treats and lots of loving attention from the workers while there. While the menu does not always call it out, many of their items can be made vegan, if that is of interest to you. I got the sweet potato and black bean burrito altered to be vegan, and it was delicious. My partner got the breakfast power bowl (not vegan) and also loved it. To drink, I recommend the vanilla shaken espresso. Vegetarian options: Many menu items are naturally vegetarian and can also be made vegan by omitting cheese and egg/replacing cheese with vegan cheese (no egg substitutes)
No complaints from myself or my husband about this place or their offerings! Very quaint local grab and go take out style cafe (accessible with a short walk from the Metro Bus with a handful of scattered tables in the very front or very back. Accessible to a party of up to 8 10 at least with the one shared table in the back. We ordered the Chicken Cilantro Lime Panini and it DID NOT disappoint. It was juicy and flavorful in all of the right ways. If you often like Panera sandwiches, this is a better alternative- in my humble (and often 'crunchy ' opinion. We also shared a banana foster cold brew and to my surprise it was not at all artificial banana (think runtz candy... Sheetz I 'm looking at you flavored and was really coffee forward, although the cold brew was rather mild. Will be back again to try more!
Super cute Cafe. Excellent food wonderful people behind the counter. They even have gluten free options that are really tasty.
I loved this place. I’m 6 months pregnant and constantly talk about grilled cheese and jam or like a sweet and salty combo. They had a fig and apple sandwich and it was THE BEST. I also got their triple chocolate frappe and it was super yummy. Everyone was so nice, definitely added to my favorite restaurants list!
