The Artist's Palate - Akaroa

Amazing beautifully maintained gardens with incredible mosaic work that is out of this world. Must have taken years of patient detailed work to complete this. Note while it is amazing it is not cheap $25 per adult. But still worth it. Also there is no parking up the driveway. You need to park on the road and walk up.

Brilliant experience. Lovely gardens and fantastic sculptures that have clearly taken a long time to create. Entrance fee was reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

The lady in the entrance kiosk was a little grumpy boarding on rude. When I asked her for information, she said it was a long story and to read the sheet of paper she gave out. I thought it was expensive for what it was. I was surprised that acees to the Graints house was not included. Hence, my comments regarding the cost of entrance. However, the garden was lovely and the mosaics interesting. My wife loved it.

The Giants House in Akaroa is wildly creative mosaic sculptures on a significant scale by artist Josie Martin. Wow.
