Olive Kitchen & Arabian Night Restaurant

The place has a nice ambience. We went for lunch and were the only ones there. The food is ok, nothing exceptional about it. We had chinese, may be the indian was better. In short I'm sure there are better places to eat in Ajmer.

Tripadvisor mentions the restaurant as Greek, but, not a single dish on offer transcends typical Mughlai cuisine. They had Chicken Barra Kabab, the taste being exquisite, though a bit messy to eat. Even the plain yellow dal was superb. A bit heavy on oil, but, just the right amount of spices in everything. the service is excellent.Be careful if you wish to pay by Credit Card. their swipe terminal is ALWAYS on the blink. Be ready to dish out cash, though it is mid-range priced - this too is wrongly captured in Tripadvisor, because it gives 5 Rupee icons indicating it is an expensive place.Lastly, the place can be accessed only by a small elevator, almost outside building. The building has no generator, so, if the electricity goes, be prepared to be lowered through a an external hand-crank. We had this experience, though fortunately the response was quick and we had to be lowered just a couple of feet.

The location and decor of the restaurant is very good. The food and service leave a lot more to be desired. The service is really slow. An order for soup will take upto 30 mins to arrive. By then your hunger has shot up a mile and the taste of the food is just about ok.

We enjoyed the flavors of the dishes we tried at this restaurant. The space is clean, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and humble.

This restaurant was a disappointment. I would not recommend it. The food was cold, undercooked, and not of good quality. It was my special day and they ruined it. I would give it 1 star only because I have to. They also mentioned that larger orders are given priority, which makes me question their food quality even more. I would suggest looking elsewhere if you want to have a great dining experience on a special occasion.
