Contribuiți la feedbackThis place serves the most authentic Mughlai cuisine in Ajmer. Love their mutton preparation which has a fresh aroma which makes one drool. Mutton nihari is a must try. .i would like to visit here again and again to have more mughlai in my tummy and in my soul..we actually visited this place randomly..we were going somewhere else..but then we came here and i felt like it was a good decision..all i can say is do visit guys..food is really amazing...Cooperative staff and pocket friendly menu.
When it comes to mughlai cuisine this place is a legend. It's as good as the Karim's in Delhi near Jama Masjid. I didn't even know that karim's had a branch in Ajmer also. Its just that i was in ajmer and i googled for some good mughlai food restaurants and got to know thru tripadvisor that karim's is there. Well, I'll get to the food now. We ordered the Burrah Chicken, murgh jehangir, mutton qorma and Khamiri roti. The chicken burrah was to die for. Fragrant with spices and was so soft. Pure bliss. Between the mains I am not sure which one I liked more. Both were delectable. And what should I say about the khamiri roti. Very light and soft. Far better than the Roti's we usually get at other restaurants. Last but not the least we had the phirni a sweet dish served in clay bowl that gives the aroma of it, which was also alright.Another plus is the service which is really swift. I think we took more time deciding what we want compared to the service turn around time. Anyone who comes here will definitely not be disappointed with the quality of food.
Located next to the bus stand this place is perfect for a dinner or a quick bite. I had Biryani over here that was better than that of Karim Delhi.
I have tried many restaurants in the past, but always had issues with reservations. However, Ajmer was a much better experience. The food quality was excellent, especially the hot naan that was served. The restaurant is located on the main road and is reasonably priced. I look forward to visiting Ajmer more often in the future.
Karim is the restaurant where we tried our first non-vegetarian dishes in India and we were really impressed. The menu had a variety of options and we enjoyed the delicious mutton curry, handi biryani, and some of their specialty kebabs. The seating and staff could be improved upon, but overall it was a great dining experience.
